Pre-K to Grade 5
Pre-K Art Mix
Students will learn and experiment with various materials and techniques in drawing, painting, sculpture, and mixed media and are encouraged to choose their own subject matter. Students will work with instructors on projects that are engaging and fun that will teach them new skills.
Grades K-2 Art Mix
Students learn techniques in drawing, painting, sculpture, and mixed media and are encouraged to make creative decisions and develop important artistic skills. Explore various subject matter from realism to anime.
Grades 3-5 Art Mix
Students learn techniques in drawing, painting, sculpture, and mixed media and are encouraged to make creative decisions and develop important artistic skills. Explore various subject matter from realism to anime.
Teen Classes
Teens Art Mix
Students learn techniques in drawing, painting, sculpture, and mixed media and explore various subject matter from realism to anime. Student experiment with a variety of media such as pencil, pen/ink, clay, acrylic paint, watercolor, color pencil, gouache, pastels, and charcoal.
Teens Intensive Art Mix
Students will experiment and learn about drawing materials such as pencil, color pencil, charcoal, and pen/ink and are encouraged to think creatively and make artistic decisions. Projects explore portraiture, landscape, figures, still lifes, architectural and interior drawings.
Teens Printmaking
Students learn about different art materials and how to use a new media and various technical skills of linoleum carving, etching, mono-print, and combining these skills.
Adult Art Classes
Adults Beginners Art
Learn the basics of drawing and painting through a variety of subject matter such as portraiture, landscape, still lifes, and perspective.
Adult Art Mix
One-on-one instruction with instructors allows for further development as an artist as instructors inspire students through their own art practice and teaching experience.
Digital Art Class
Students will learn Basics of Photoshop and explore Photoshop’s Tools, Painting and Drawing in Photoshop. Students will explore Photoshop’s Advanced Tools and will create a Digital Character and Digital Environment.
Portfolio
Students learn about different art materials and how to use a new media and various technical skills of linoleum carving, etching, mono-print, and combining these skills.
Life Drawing
Students will learn how to draw a human figure from observation and will learn how to measure accurate proportions from observation. Students will practice speed drawing exercises as well as slow paced drawings.
