Why is it important?

Students will learn to create a drawing of an animal by simplifying different body parts into simple shapes before adding detail and texture
Students will learn to create beautiful outdoor landscape paintings, using techniques to create space and texture
Clay stimulates the child's curiosity, encourages experimentation, and allows them to create 3-dimensional sculptures
